HOW MUCH COULD I EARN?
How much you actually make may vary with your availability, season, demand and other factors.
These are the phototours we offer and the amount you earn from each:
- 30 MINUTES- 90 Euros
- 60 MINUTES- 120 Euros
- PROPOSAL (40 MINUTES)- 100 Euros
- 90 MINUTES- 120 Euros
- 2 HOURS- 190 Euros
- 3 HOURS- 220 Euros
HOW DO I GET PAID?
The day of the photo tour you’ll get paid in cash by the client.
Note: The payment method can change depending on the circumstamces. We will inform you in advance.

Get more exposure. Thousands of travelers can find and book a photo tour experience with you. Show your city and photography style with people from all around the world.
YOU'RE IN CONTROL
With Captourist you’re in full control of your availability, your photography style (keeping it candid and natural) and how you interact with the travelers that book photo tours with you.
PLANNING A PHOTOSHOOT
You will receive your booking request with the contact information of the traveler and payment method. You will reach your traveler to arrange the meeting point and details 48-24 hrs before the day of the photoshoot.
HOW LONG IN ADVANCE CAN A TRAVELER BOOK A PHOTO TOUR WITH ME?
We suggest travelers to book at least two weeks in advance.
But if the traveler requires a photo tour after these two weeks you can decline or accept the photo tour, it will depend on you and your availability.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BOOK A SHOOT TOGETHER?
It can be only for a single person or a whole big family! To ensure a minimum number of photos for each person we suggest travelers to book the 60 minutes package in case the group exceeds the 5 people. If the group have 10 or more people we suggest to book the two or three hours package.
THE DAY OF THE PHOTOSHOOT
WHAT IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF THE SHOOT?
You know that there is no bad weather for shooting photographs and capturing great moments. Just tell your traveler in advance to bring a nice umbrella with them and enjoy! However, if we can not guarantee our standard level due to the weather we will reschedule the shooting.
CAN THE GUESTS EXTEND BEYOND THE SCHEDULED TIME?
If you are available travelers can pay for add on time for extra charge online later. The photographer cannot accept cash payments for extra time.
THE PHOTOS
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I DELIVER TO THE TRAVELER?
These are the phototours we offer and the amount of photographs you should deliver:
- 30 MINUTES- 100 photos
- 60 MINUTES- 150 photos
- 90 MINUTES- 200 photos.
- PROPOSAL (40 MINUTES)- 100 photos
- 2 HOURS- 240 photos
- 3 HOURS- 290 photos
The JPG high resolution images should be uploaded in our ShootProof platform and the RAW files should be sent through WeTransfer.
SHOULD I EDIT THE PHOTOS?
Remember that our style is typically candid and natural with outdoor lighting so the photos don’t need too much post edition. Nevertheless, our post edition team will provide the basic editing, such as colour balance and cropping. Photoshopping or extensive editing is not included.
HOW DO I DELIVER THE PHOTOS TO THE TRAVELER?
Captourist will provide you a photographer username with a gallery platform for you to upload the photographs in high resolution JPG format within 3-4 business days after the photo shoot. You would send the RAW files through WeTransfer.
CAN TRAVELERS CHOOSE WHICH PHOTOS THEY RECEIVE IN THEIR GALLERY?
You are the professional so after you previously remove any photos with funny faces, closed eyes, blurry images and improper lighting you will upload the amount of photos included in their package.
WHAT SIZE ARE THE PHOTOS?
The photos must have a high resolution (3300 by 2200px) minimum size. If the travelers have a specific size requirement for a special project, they will let us know when they book!
WHAT FORMAT WILL I UPLOAD THE PHOTOS IN?
Photos in the online gallery and high resolution link are provided in JPEG format. So the travelers can print them or share them however they want. Please note that to protect the work of our photographers, under no circumstances we provide RAW format files
DO I OWN THE PHOTOS?
We really respect our clients’ privacy. Therefore, we won’t be using our client photos for promotional purposes if they don’t let us. Our clients can choose their photo status later once their photos are uploaded or they can contact our client relations team to set their photo status up.
The travelers have the rights to use the photos for personal use. Once they download them they can print them, share them or gift them as souvenirs with friends and family. Captourist would like the rights of the use to showcase the photos in our portfolio for enterprise purposes, but if the travelers prefer to keep them private, they will let us know and we will never post anything publicly. Captourist retain the copyright on the images shot. You can review our T&C.
CAN THE GUESTS BUY ALL OF THE SHOTS TAKEN?
Unfortunately, we don’t have that option. We prefer that you could concentrate on the most successful photos and work in post-production only on the amount included in their package.
WILL YOU SHARE MY PHOTOS ONLINE?
Any photos you see on our Site or any and all underlying software or technology used in connection with the Site, and all aspects thereof are owned by Captourist or its licensors.
